By accessing or using STYLVS ("Service," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and STYLVS.
You must be at least 13 years old to use STYLVS. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission. If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you must be at least 16 years old, or have verified parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we discover that a user is under 13, we will immediately terminate their account and delete all associated data. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us at privacy@stylvs.app.
STYLVS is an AI-powered video clipping tool. You upload video content and the Service uses artificial intelligence to generate optimized short-form clips for social platforms. You are responsible for all content you upload and for how you use the generated clips.
You may create an account with an email and password, or authenticate via Google OAuth or Discord OAuth. If you enable two-factor authentication (TOTP), you are responsible for keeping your recovery codes safe. You are solely responsible for all activity under your account and API key. Notify us immediately at support@stylvs.app if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share your API key.
You must not upload content that:
We use automated content safety screening to detect prohibited content. Violations result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement where required.
You retain full ownership of the content you upload. By using the Service, you grant STYLVS a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, transcode, and analyze your content solely for the purpose of generating your requested clips. This license terminates when your content is deleted (within 24 hours of processing) or when your account is deleted.
STYLVS uses aggregated, anonymized behavioral signals to improve its AI models. How this applies to you depends on your plan:
In all cases: your video content is never sold to third parties, never used to train models for external companies, and is processed only by STYLVS and its named AI providers (see Privacy Policy). Aggregate statistical signals may be used in anonymized form regardless of tier.
STYLVS uses artificial intelligence to analyze your video transcript, score candidate clips, generate captions, and apply visual effects. This constitutes automated processing that may affect which portions of your video are selected as highlights. You retain the ability to review, edit, and reject any AI-generated output before use. You may also request human review by contacting support@stylvs.app.
STYLVS operates background agents that analyze platform-wide anonymized usage signals to improve clip quality, scoring prompts, and style recommendations over time. These agents operate on aggregated data only — they cannot read your individual video content, account details, or personal information. No agent takes actions affecting your account or content without your explicit consent.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial billing periods. All prices are in USD and are subject to applicable taxes.
Our Privacy Policy describes in full how we collect, use, and protect your data, including details on GDPR rights, CCPA rights, OAuth providers, TOTP 2FA data handling, and all third-party processors.
Uploaded source videos and generated clips are automatically deleted within 24 hours of processing completion. Do not use STYLVS as permanent storage. We are not responsible for loss of content due to automatic deletion.
The STYLVS platform, interface, AI models, and all associated software are owned by STYLVS and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the platform without our written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated clips will meet your expectations. Use of AI-generated content is at your own discretion and risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, STYLVS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50 USD.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English. Class action lawsuits and class arbitration are waived. Nothing in this clause prevents you from pursuing claims in small claims court for disputes within that court's jurisdiction.
If you are located in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under applicable EU consumer protection law, which may provide additional protections that cannot be contractually waived.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you may cancel your account before the effective date.
